Think there isn't enough rain? A one-inch rain will collect 600 gallons from a 1,000 square foot roof, while 4,500 square foot lot will receive 2,800 gallons!

Where we live, I'm sure we could collect enough water to live on if there was enough storage capability.

I've often thought a small garden shed with an overhang for sitting in the shade would be nice and keeping garden tools, fencing, pots and such but now I'm thinking it would be double or even triple the value for catching water in barrels or cistern for watering the garden.
