well some good news, after a bajillion annoying phone calls from me and just as many from my agent, the holding company for HUD arranged to give us a 24hr extenson to get the contract in!

*huge deep breath*
managed to get it all sent off before 3pm guarenteed delivery by 3pm tomorrow, in otherwords itll make it jsut on time

WHEW!

this is almost as stressfull as public speaking!

gah!

so now we wait for them to get it, hope to whatever gods everyone prays to that everything is signed and dated where it needs to be and theres no mistakes in the contract (otherwise wed have to start from scratch again *ugh*) and that they sign it and get it to the people that need it and the rest of this moves smoothly along.

assuming the contract gets to where it needs to be and everything is signed right, next step is to get the utilities turned on and a home inspection...then the home inspection results get sent to me and a copy to the asset managment company and we go from there, if the inspector says theres no well pump i then have to have the asset company negotiate with hud about how we can fix that problem so i can have the well checked in order to close.

if all goes well and smooth, closing is within 45 days of contract being signed! so ill be calling wellsfargo first thing friday morning assuming the asset company doesnt call me to tell me i screwed up on the contract, to finalize the mortgage itself and get them what they need so noone can blame me for any hold ups lol.

i have no idea how we go about getting the utilities turned back on though lol.
im hoping whoever has to turn the utilities on will say "theres no well pump" and send it to the asset company so we can get it fixed even before the home inspection...

please keep fingers crossed for smooth sailing the rest of the way.

so calling it an early night tonight, im exhausted...
all this insanity over this past week trying to get the offer in and such has just kicked my butt...

least everythigns sent off now and all i can do is hope i got everything right and huds willing to work with me on getting that well up and running so i can get the inspection done.

gonna get my butt back to aquazumba tomorrow evening, but nothing planned for during the day (hoping the rain stops so i can finnish mulching)

and some frineds of mine at lusty leather have offered me a couple free tickets to the southern ct robin hoods spring time festival in guilford for this weekend (will be going on sunday) so a day at a renfaire might help chillax my brain a little.
always makes me feel better to get all tied up and flirted with by handsome rogues and sexy pirates...yummy yummy.

It is amazing to see all the hoops and hurdles people/organizations make you go through just to purchase a house. I think that over the course of time people have made living so difficult...it'd be nice just to be able to do what you want how you want to do it - provided you can pay for it, of course. But all this fancy lingo in contracts and things that have to check out first makes me go cross eyed.

I'm not surprised many people are taken advantage of. I guess as long as you can understand fancy lingo - or pay someone else to - you might just squeak through.

But it sounds like you've got this stuff nailed and understand what's expected. As long as you keep everything straight you'll get where you want to be in no time! Then, as you sit in your kitchen staring out at your barns you'll say....Wow...Guess it wasn't that bad after all.

sigh...

having one of those nights where i realize how "important" i am in my "friends" lives...
its friday night and im sat here at home watching campy horror movies on chiller...

in the meantime all my friends are at the movies an hour away in full garb watching the new pitrates movie...
noone even told me about it, noone invited me, nothing.

i was talking to my brither today, he asked me if i was meeting all my frinedns at the faire on sunday...and i told him "i dont know" i know ill see aquaintence type frineds who work there...
but on the true frineds front, hang out kind of friends...

se when the fair statred everyone was all "you should come" i told them id love to be cant afford the 100miles in gas AND the gate fee, but if anyone had a comp they could give me id love to hang out at faire...
not one of my FRIENDS offered...

leenie, the wonderfull lady who offered me tickets for this weeken i consider a fair friend/aquaintence, she offered me the 2 tickets and explained that workers get 10 free tickets...PER WEEKEND...

so let me get this striaght, 1/2 my real life friends work faire, and not one of them could offer me one of their 30 free tickets?
i found out another friend of mine, my supposedly BEST friend, has been "collecting" comp passes sinc eopening weekend and has 6 of them for closing weekend, and she couldnt offer me one either...i asked her who she was takng and she goes "oh i dont know yet..." so its not even like her free passes were spoken for.

it just brougth up the feelings...

my same "best friend" told me she was comming to visit a couple of fridays ago...
YAY!
i told her to give me a call on thursday to let me know what time to expect her on friday...
no call...friday came along...no frined...i called her cell, no answer, called her house, no answer, saturday comes along no responce so i facebook messaged her...her responce..."oh yeah...i was gonna call but i forgot i was out all day with another friend...while she got a new tattoo..."

yup i feel important

ive called them, ive emialed them, ive imed them, ive facebook msged them...
once a month i use the gas in my car to drive over an hour to go hang out with them (which costs more money because we HAvE to go out to eat (and often it also involves movies) when i ask if we can do something more halfway between us i get all kinds of complaints because "thats just difficult because we all live up here" they all drive 5-10 mins from their homes and i have to drive 1hr and 10 mins just to see them yet they cant pick one of the many spots about 1/2 way between me and them just to give me a break once in a while.

i even offered to host, cook ect here at my house, we have a big garden, plenty of parking and crash space, a fire pit and ive got a kitchen in my room...but nope...not interested its "too far to drive"
but if i cant make it to a girls night i get "its not that far" and "but we never get to see you"

i love em all i realy do, and some of my frineds i understand, 2 of my fave people work LONG hours and when they are not workng (they are married, to eachother) they like to spend time just them...also the wifey doesnt drive...so it doesnt bother me as much with them, i know they like their time together...
but my other frineds have no real excuses, one doesnt work, is on unemployment, but shes "too busy" with her "boyfrined" (a married man btw)
my other "best" friend works 2 jobs so i get not seeing her often, but shes the one that said she was comming then got too busy with her other frined...

its like...

yeah you "love" me...but only when its convenient...only when I make the effort...

so yeah...im feeling just a little left out tonight...
im not a social person for the most part, so id be happy with seeing folks twice a month or so...but i havent seen any of them in about 3 months.

the only frined that ever makes an effort to see me and hang out and return my calls and such is ash and we were never THAT close in college...

im realy hoping when i move, despite being fairly rural i can make some friends who actually make an effort to hang out sometimes...

sorry just in a whiney mood...

and as im typing this little willow kitten whos not usually very snuggly came over plopped herself on my lap and purred herself to sleep...
they know when there needed lol

A lucky person has a few true friends and knows which ones they are. At least you wont be missing the wrong ones, and you can still call the good ones.

Yep! In general, people suck

I finally have a couple really good friends. Who all live far away but have good reasons to not be able to see me often. They still manage on a regular basis though. Auntie is visiting tomorrow And Imooto visits any time she comes down to Denver.

Actually that's pretty much my close friends list. LOL!
