Nope. My sister does, and it sounds very, very different from where I am. I'm at 1,000 feet and average humidity is like 70%. She is between 4,500 - 5,500 and average humidity is like 10%. I didn't realize her city has such a range in elevation until I checked just now.

Your sister's place sounds very much like mine. Where does she live?

We are 981 ft and similar humidity as @tortoise ;)

Family in Silverdale, WI and Neskowin, OR. Have visited OR many many times for weeks on end. I would drop everything if I could sell and find something reasonable but COL is a much higher than WI.

Oh boy, I hope if your power went out on Sat. it is back on, boy that wind came through here at 5pm the lights (which never go out) went on and off 4 times.

It was raining when I went out to the coop at 4:15 a.m. it is oddly! warm 53 on the porch. I left one of the coop windows open over night because it was 50 out at 6:30pm when I went out to close the door, I didn't want the coop to warm. Then hens have inside the coop quite dame from shaking off the rain.

It is suppose to rain non stop until about noon and then start clearing off. It should be a good sunny day on Tues.

I heard between the wind and the rain in WA, especially north of Seattle, it is not going well for the area! Please stay safe, warm and if you don't have to go out in the weather please don't.

My silkies have little houses. The large fowl have a dirt floor. I toss shavings in occasionally. It stays dry on top even though we have a high water table. Run is 15x35 and I put 3 to 4 bales of straw out there every 3 months to prevent it from becoming a mud pit. It's just bare dirt and rock come summer so they can dust bathe to their hearts content out there. There are a lot of worms.

We hit 30 around 2am, it warmed back up several degrees by 4:15 when hubby left. Ive never had the hose still connected this late in the year. I feel I need to unhook it soon. I best do a final water bowl deep clean this week.
I unhooked all of mine 11/1
