and just like that- a day with no rain,, one could go out and plant peas and turnips and cabbage in this mildness

I'm jealous! Here I am, so far south we could darn near fall into the Gulf of Mexico and I just lost all my peas, and had some definite damage to the turnips and cabbage even though heavily mulched... Crazy weather, lol!
