You just gave me the name for one of my new chicks that will arrive in April. Our silkie rooster, George, is so named because he hatched on Washington's birthday last year. I MUST have a Martha! I have a Betsy, but she wasn't named for Betsy Ross.

Henrietta & Sarah Jane both died from heat last summer & Gretrude was killed by a dog.
The cows are named Daisy & Princess(ds named both) he was into the dukes of hazard when we got the first one & by the time she dropped her calf he was into Star Wars. The ram is Ramsey, he was already named when we got him too.
The next hens I get I will be naming again. As before long all I will have is a all star cast out there!
