I had a white Satin buck once that would breed a doe, then come to the open door to the cage for me to pet him. Every time.

He wanted an at-a-boy, huh?

My white buck, Buckaroo Bonzai, is not the brightest bulb, if you know what I mean. Couple attempts he was working the wrong side,a few times, the side. The doe pretty much gad to go, "Here! You idiot!"
This is only his third time breeding. I mean, how many times does it take to figure it out?
My red buck gets right to it. The doe Betty White, is a runner, tho, so she has to be chased down. She plays hard to get. Leo got her at least 6 times since she runs off when he is performing his manly bunny duties. First time I bred her to Buckaroo she didnt take. Second time, 4 live ones, one peanut. The other doe had 11 so I took a few from her and gave to Betty. Worked out pretty good. Both are good mothers.

His name was Scrapper, I tatooed it in his ear. He was a grand Champion buck, had multiple best of breeds and best of show. He swept the fur classes, he was an awesome buck. He was a spoiled sweetheart and loved attention.

I stood by and made sure there was sufficient fall offs and that no fights started.

this is so odd, when i fall off it is not considered sufficient and i surely do not get pats and atta-boys... i must be doing something wrong...

I hate rats. I have tried poison which worked at first but now they are avoiding it. I bought a Ratinator. Havent caught ONE dang rat. I had bought a rolling mouse trap thingy that you use with a 5 gallon bucket filled with water and little ramps to get to the bait smeared on the rubber center piece you put on. I put peanut butter on it as per instructions. The little B*****ds pulled the rubber piece over to the edge and ate the peanut butter off!!!!
I mean, seriously?
The possibility of a rat terrier is getting more and more likely. But my luck the stupid dog wont catch a single rat anyway.

I feel your pain! We've had an ongoing rat problem since losing Gracie the varmint dog extraordinaire. We resorted to the green chunk type poison. I know they like it and eat it because DH left a bucket of it open in the garage. Couple weeks later it was empty. Little ba$tar(d)$ came and stole it right out of the bucket! But, I haven't seen evidence of a rat in a couple of weeks now.
