Hope there aren't too many squeamish guys reading along...
I've always been told not to use soap or any kind of cleanser "down there" because it will put the natural acid balance out of whack and cause infections. The inner parts (vagina) are self cleansing, but the outer parts (labia) should be cleaned (but not harshly or too often) like the rest of the skin--I just use water (and my hands, no washcloth--too delicate) too. I've never had any issues/infections whatsoever, and feel perfectly clean

Doctors. I so hear ya. So much of female irritation problems can be from soaps and detergents......I used an antibacterial sopa in the shower ..1 time..many years ago. Boy, did I learn my lesson
Then, I switched to Phisoderm..when it was a white creamy based soap. I used it diluted, and always only wash the outer folds. I have never douched...good health and hygiene work just fine. And, gravity plays a part in it all too. We are human beings....bodies makes fluids and odors, naturally and otherwise. One would think the medical profession would have a handle on that by now.
Oh yeah...yet another Urban Legend..like jobs. I have nothing right now. NO job, no health insurance. I have AFLAC.....but they are only if I am admitted to the hospital. I was outpatient ER.
