You have to go like 4 or 5 pages in to see the finished eggs. They look like glass eggs...very pretty. I already have polymer clay so now I am going to have to try these!!
I am up to 4 duck eggs now! Once I get 6.....and get 6 of them blown out nicely I will send them off to you! So, if my duck is extra generous I may be able to get them sent out by the end of the week!
Tuesday- Girlfriend came over and we made spiked chocolate covered cherries and spiked chocolate covered cranberries. Both taste very good. But the liquor sneaks up on you. I only had three and I was talking a little lopsided. We learned a couple things for next time.
Wednesday- I made chocolate covered orange peel. Everyone at work loved them. Pretty easy too. Since that turned out I am going to make choc covered lime and choc covered lemon peels this weekend.
Havent seen any roadkill yet. The girl from work was not able to get any skins for me either. I will keep looking on the side of the road, lol.
Hey Beekissed, the licketty lick lick reference is from an early Bill Cosby recording. The one about the heart (?) that ate new york?
Hehe!! You have even got me looking at road kill thinking hmmmm...I think that squirrel tale could be used for something! If my 13 yo does get a deer I do not think he is going to give the hide up easily. I mentioned it to him about tanning it and not he has his heart totally set on that! He is starting to dream about mittens, hat, and a lap blanket made out of it!
I came across this recipe today...looks really yummy!
Christmas Balls
1 8oz. brick of cream cheese (can use low fat)
1 T. Crisco
1 bag Oreos
6 white chocolate bars
Combine Oreos and cream cheese in a blender and blend until fine (or crush and blend by hand in a bowl if you prefer). Roll mixture into balls approx. 1" each and put on wax paper. Freeze 4 hours or overnight in a Tupperware container. Melt Crisco and white chocolate in a double boiler until creamy but not runny. Dip each ball into the chocolate/Crisco mixture using a toothpick. Put them on wax paper and freeze overnight. Serve chilled. Can top with sprinkles or other edible Christmas decoration while they are still warm, if you want.
