I think his idea is to keep them loose all the time and thats fine if you dont work and keep an eye out all day, but i got too much tangled in them to just feed the wildlife. So we just turn them out when im home and can keep an eye on them

So sorry! What do these people think? You're rolling in the dough by selling eggs? Selling eggs is a labor of love, and there is NO PROFIT in it. Add the labor involved, and they would understand that being allowed to purchase home raised eggs is a luxury.

Set in their ways man... Apparently when they were younger they got an egg with a blood spot in it from my FILs sister. Only store bought from then on out. Blood spots in eggs are not natural don't you know?
