Sheep not well, sad news and some helpful info pg 9-10

Glad to hear it!!!

Nothing feels better when you've got a sick animal than to see signs of recovery. :)

Yes that's her. :)

She's doing a bit better. Still having small attacks but acting herself in between, and no major episode in almost 48 hours now I think -- my days are running together. :)

Did the vet feel her asthma was triggered by anything? It would be nice if it were so it could be avoided if possible. She is very pretty, BTW!

Glad to hear she's perking up!! That's definitely good news when they want to eat again! I'm having a few more issues with my ewe, but I'll post about that in my journal.

p.s. Glad the kitty is doing better too!!

I'm giving her some molasses, cornmeal and ground alfalfa pellets in water via drench. I also gave her some yogurt.

It's such a relief when you see signs of recovery...guess "someone" was listening to all our prayers! :)

Thank you. :)

Today she stood up off and on during the day. I made her move around too, so she will get stronger. She isn't eating, but I've been giving her alfalfa and cornmeal drenches here and there. She shows interest in hay and nuzzles it, she just hasn't eaten any today. Yesterday she took one nibble, that I know of.

Aggie, I'll check on your ewe over in your journal. Hope everything is going to be ok. :)

Shiloh, I'm sorry to read about your kitty. It sounds like things are getting better though. :) She IS pretty.
