SheriM - Too Stubborn to Stop Dreamin' - SURPRISE!!!

Despite temps of 30 degrees C (high 80's F) we've been working on the outdoor chicken run. Ran out of wire, though, so it'll have to wait now till I go to town to get some more. Since this picture was taken, we've covered the top with bird netting. It's pretty flimsy stuff, but we'll see how it works.

Looking good, Sheri, looking real good. I'm impressed. I refuse to work in temps above 80. I usually camp out in my room in the afternoon during the kids naptime and either take one myself or sit at the computer and lose myself to the internet.

LOVE looking through your pics Sherry:>) :frow That little goat is sooo cute! Great job with the chicken run...the bird netting on top will be fine, it's all I have ever used since I discovered it! Cheap, and much easier to shake all the pine cones off the top ;)

Your new goat is adorable! I loved the bunny story... like a gift from God, having a small wild creature greet you during your day.

You sure have been busy! Don't forget to keep hydrated in that heat....

That's exactly what I thought, a gift from God. It was a wonderful experience.

For the moment, at least, I feel great. We had to postpone the start of chemo for a couple of weeks due to an infection in the mastectomy site. That's cleared up fine, but we have to be certain it's completely gone because the chemo does such a number on the immune system. I'm now scheduled for the first chemo treatment on July 16, two days before DH's birthday. Fun, fun!
