Ever wonder how poor people in South America wind up with definitely American (made in China) t-shirts?

In Houston, and I would guess in other big cities too, there are big warehouses where they take in clothing from places like Goodwill, that didn't sell. The clothing is sorted to size and color, then packed up, sold by the pound, and exported to poor countries. Not saying that poor countries don't have new clothing stores, but that is just one example of how clothing is recycled and used in a beneficial way.
