HI! I am new here at Sufficent self, a Christian, and I would like to join this Bible Study group.
And would also like to ask for prayers....
Hubby has been out of work for almost 2 years, has a spirit of negitivity on him. He is almost retirement age, and we can not afford for
retire where we are living, SW CT. I would like to ask for prayers that the negitive spirit be cast as far as east is to west. And that if it is God's will that a job be opened to him, and if need be, he be open to moving out of state if it be God's plan. Thank you!

Will do, Lisa. I don't think I could afford to live where you live either. Have you ever thought about moving out of state even w/out a job? Don't say anything to him about it, just pray. You might be surprised and have him approach you one day on his own.

I have talked to him in the past about it. His daughter, 6 grandkids, and brother live here. Plus we live in the house he grew up in. My parents retired to Arizona. My dad and brother are out there, my mom passed away 5 years ago. I just feel as if I am being drawn somewhere else (and not necessarily Arizona). I have had a desire to leave this state since I graduated high school( and we will not get into how long ago that was). He doesn't want to leave "his family".Denim Deb said:

Hey you guys! I'm reading Corrie ten Boom's Tramp for the Lord. I just finished The Hiding Place. They are both really great books that really ministered to me, especially Tramp for the Lord!!!
