the dreaded word SN*W has started showing up in our forecasts so even if there are chances of rain for today i should try to get out for at least an hour here or there and see if i can get more gardening in...

Yikes! The four letter "S" word! That's almost incomputable to me! We'll hit nearly 80 today and by the end of the week the high 80's before another cool front. I'm thankful for some more tolerable weather so I can get some things done before our winter sets in. Ahhh, who am I kidding - our winters don't "set in." We get sporadic coldness and an occasional amount of Crazy Cold. I think of it as our reward for making it through our he//ish summers.

well, i've changed my mind, we have a bit of rain chance and 40mph winds coming at us and i sure am not going to be out there fighting the wind while getting a garden cleaned up as it will all end up blowing into places where i've already finished. tomorrow is supposed to be calmer - i can save my energy for that instead. :) puttering inside will be much more useful and have an actual chance of getting something done. :)
