It’s funny looking at old plans. I just bought my first trailer, which means I’m now a homeowner. It’s currently parked in my parents front yard while getting fixed up.

I’m ready for my own space and this fell into my lap praise God. So, here’s to being a homeowner.

When did you get a place? I looked back over the year and didn’t see it. I am glad you got a trailer I need to get one and a 4 wheeler so I can haul firewood easier. One wheelbarrow at at time is going to be the death of this grandma.

I got my trailer (or camper) or whatever you want to call it two weeks ago. Currently I can see sunlight through the floors because of repairs but plan to move in next month.

A four wheeler might work or you could always train some pack goats 🤣.

Where do you plant to park/set-up? Got a place in mind, or " it'll happen" ? 🤔🥰
It (and me!) are going to live in my parents front yard until I move away. Or at least that’s the plan. We already have a post with electric, but it needs a higher ampage, which is why I’m waiting until February to move out (that’s when the electrician is coming to fix it). We parked it where it’s staying and it was thouroughly discussed before I bought it. It’s already set up as far as that goes. Just need to finish a few repairs and get electric to it.

So I’m moving out of my parents house to a few paces outside of their door. But it still counts as moving out right?

Whenever I’m ready to move away or change my address I’ll have my home with me. For now it’s a nice stepping stone and a space of my own. I love my parents but I’m twenty three and ready.

And, Lord willing, when I get married we’ll have a first home set up and move in ready. Until that time I get my own house (which if you can’t tell I’m absolutely thrilled about) and still can help around the house and land.

Don’t wait until it’s finished, post as you go pictures. It’s fun to go back when you hit that “will this ever get done” slump. You can SEE what you have accomplished and how much you have done.
