this used to be a pillowcase!

:thumbsup That is so cool... :hide:hide wish i knew how to sew:hit

I did the same thing years ago with those nylon woven feed bags. (but you have to baste before you cut or they unravel!). I made myself about 6 of them when my kids were little. They hold a TON of weight, are very tough, don't rip, don't absorb water, sand or smells. Wonderful bags. I lost them gradually to kids, kids friends, neighbors...

I really should sew up some more.

I was just thinking there must be something I can do with the feed bags....

Hummmmmm

Feed bags are wonderful, there are a lot of uses for them, I have even seen a chicken coop made out of plastic feed bags! I can't remember where I saw that but I'll have to find it again. :)

I pulled a few out of the pile to make some grocery shopping bags with. The ones the store sells you fall apart too quickly, it annoys me, since they use them for advertising they should give them as promotions! So I can't wait to make some with the feed bags......after spring is over, that is!
