Today's "to-do" list

Got two coats of paint on the bathroom walls and ceiling today! Wahooooo!
Tomorrow, cement board and with a little bit of luck, I'll start tiling this weekend. That might be pushing it with all the other craaaaaap I need to deal with, though.

The peacock is still visiting and using the back of my pickup truck for a perch. Man, they poop. We might put up a big perch-type thing to see if he'll move over to that.

What's a sunflower house? Pix?

I don't have any pictures yet, it's the first year I've tried to do it.

I got 8, 5 and 3 foot tall sunflowers... dug a 6x9 garden and planted the tallest sunflowers evenly around the outside as the walls, filling in with the shorter sunflowers and leaving the middle of the 'room' open.

In the holes with the tallest sunflowers I planted morning glories that should grow to 15 feet, so when they reach the tops of the sunflowers I will string garden twine from one side to the other so the morning glories will form the roof.

Aeryn and I will have tea parties in her sunflower house later in the summer... at least that's the plan I'll take pictures as it starts to grow.

-Fold washing (half done)
-Change calendars over DONE
-Buy some meat at the butchers shop

This Week:
-Clean Windows
-Clean the fridge: this includes inside and out, and relocating any leftovers that should be eaten
-Look up how to make wood polish
-Research some kiwi recipes

Bathroom:
-Dust
-Decobweb
-Sweep the floor
-Clean the sink

Toilet:
-Dust
-Decobweb
-Sweep the floor
-Scrub the bowl

Lounge:
-Dust (desperately)
-Decobweb
-Clean up round the dining table
-Vacuum

Today:
-Bake pumpkin pie
-Make another batch of kiwi jam
-Make origami boxes/ornaments for party treats DONE
-Blanch and freeze silver beet
-Mail bday card DONE
-Finish shopping for Saturday DONE
-Sweep and Mop kitchen floor DONE
-Wipe down counters and stovetop

This Week:
-Clean Windows
-Set seed potatoes out to chit (make space in top of larder)

Bathroom:
-Clean the sink
-Scrub the window frame, there's dampness and mold!

Lounge:
-Clear off the top of the coffee table and wipe down
-Clear the dining table
