I like to have dehydrated tomato powder on hand. It is so useful! I like to use it to thicken stews, add a punch of flavor to almost anything. It is really good in scrambled eggs, but makes them an unappetizing pinkish colorI no longer can plain tomato sauce. I dehydrate the tomato slices and grind them up into powder. You can then mix with water to make exactly how much you need. If you need tomato paste instead of sauce, add less water. If you want tomato juice, add more. Easy Peasy!
