Totally Fed Up with ATT

I just checked with Verizon they no longer offer the 4GLTE router I have.

Check on Ebay.... always finding stuff on there that have been "discontinued"....

Just found out that the 5g that the electeic company is installing will not just offer internet, but tv and phone! Once I see the prices I may get the tv and internet package. My cell is thru AT&T but might lower my plan once I can get internet here. Right now I have both thru them but if this works better(hope, hope) that will be dropped like a hot potatoe!

CEMC was out here yesterday hooking up my neighbors next door for the internet they are offering. I called today to get set up for mine, too. Cant wait! Right now Im getting 3mbs. With this new internet I'll get 250mbs for the same price Im paying for the crap I have now. Goodbye, ATT!

So the electric company came out Monday and did the line drop from the telephone pole to the house and yesterday another guy was there when I got home hooking up the line to the outside box where the internet will be hooked up to. I am scheduled for Dec 12 for instillation. My neighbors already have thiers hooked up. I can pick up their SSID on my iPad. Doesn't mean I can hook up to it, tho. I know they pick up my signal as I can pick up my ex-stalkers ex-wife's signal from her internet connection. Fun.
Anyway, two more weeks and good-bye ATT!!

The guy installing said alot of people are telling him how fed up with ATT as I am. Looks like they will lose alot of customers soon.

Have another reason to be ticked at AT&T. Since the explosion I cant make calls. Yet I can text. Imteresting.

we're done with them now too. not because of the explosion but the simple fact that Mom got so mad the other day that she destroyed and threw away the phones we had. she picked up the phone to call someone and there was so much noise on the line that she was beating the phone on the counter. of course that won't help anything, but after i switched to another phone to check the line there was still a lot of noise and we couldn't even get a dial tone.

since we've had so many problem with this line she finally decided we should get a cell phone. which took me completely by surprise. so i've been trying to find a new phone and plan and looking up stuff. ugh. i hate shopping and i've never wanted a cell phone either.

@Rammy when I lived in hurricane country, calls wouldn't go through but texts would. We have AT&T cell phones. The blast knocked out internet and phones over a wide area, clear to Atlanta, Ga.

Phones are working again. Went and reactivated a Straighttalk phone today just as a backup. Of course, now my regular phone is working. I hate AT&T.
