can't pay or that would cut into farm income LOL
whole family farms so MIL and FIL come and handle all livestock--they are farmers

We stay at a beach house that my SIL rents from her boss - BEAUTIFUL!! Much nicer than I could ever afford to rent! 
Topsail is the opposite of Atlantic Beach; AB is very crowded & kinda touristy, while Topsail is quiet. I mean, both beaches are nice, I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Trying to think if I've ever seen any campgrounds around there...I'll make a point of looking while we're there & let you know!

BEACH BEACH BEACH
pick up Nicole at 11 (so she doesn't have an abcense from school) and OFF WE GO
I gotta call the vet. Dog went to groomer on Wed. and one thing was ears cleaned. last night he shook his head and tried to jam his whole foot into his ear. ugh. I sure could tell he is uncomfortable. ugh
so calling at 8am and praying they can take him fast and check his ear. sick dog on trip is same as sick kid on trip LOL
so fingers crossed big time they can see him....we shall see...ugh
finish food in camper etc and BEACH BEACH BEACH and FUN for alot of days.
everyone enjoy the Labor Day weekend!!!!

Does your groomer pull the hairs out of your dog's ears? If so his ears might just be sore from that. I had a Bichon Frise and I saw the groomer grab a handful of hair and yank it out of his ears! Ouch! I'm sure it doesn't feel good!

no his ears are clean inside. he had ear cleaning on his other visit and never came away like this. He seems less uncomfortable this morning but still shaking a bit but not going insane like he did last night. but I am not risking it...vet is best before this trip LOL
called vet and they can take me at 9:30 as a squeeze in between. should only take a minute....but I sure don't want to travel with him not seeing someone, cause in the end, I know I will be driving around the beach trying to find a vet....and that ain't happening

back from beach and it was FAB FAB FAB
ah, the vacation life, I love it
and we are tired tired tired LOL
well $65 later Bolt got ear drops before we left. Infection in one ear...from what? who knows...she said don't blame the groomer because it was incubating before his grooming so, whatever...lol....but he is on meds and doing fine. he survived the trip great. he did not get to swim in the ocean like he loves to do. gotta keep those ears dry.
we went out to eat one time at a seafood buffet that had the king crab. YUMMO.....so $100 later the 3 of us ate like kings. WOW I did a number on those crab legs. they were out of this world! but I had my fill for a while.
weather nice except for some clouds cause of that storm. rainy this morning that we left but that is fine, we left the rain at the beach
checking a million emails etc and chilling before I hit the camper and unload fridge and some other stuff. We stopped at a few places checking toyhaulers but nothing hit my fancy. Tony is thinking bout putting this one on consignment at Camping World and just selling it and then we can search hard for a toyhauler. No trips planned til about Thanksgiving and I think I want to do something 'christmasy' but not sure what...so if he consigns now we got a good bit to sell and buy a new one. but all relative
off to do a few things
this week will be massive soaps....orders thru the roof as usual and my inventory is dwindling....so that is priority of course.
