It sleeps 16 people and they offer a better rate when you take it for a week. Plus, we're going into "season" now, so they probably hiked the price for that… Last time I checked it definitely wasn't that steep.

What would you like to know? I can ask around locally I know of three cottages here with thatch roofs. Most nowadays have tiles.

--How long do they last?
--Are they warmer than a normal roof?
--How often are they replaced (if any)?
--Who puts them up?
