Okay, update. I'm tired. I'm backed up with chores. I'm making money here and there. The end. As always
Seriously...same old same old here...just a different day. I found a deal, snatched it up yesterday. I took that deal, got what I wanted out of it, and made a sale within 30 minutes of posting what I didn't want. Scored almost as much cash as I was out to begin with. I'm currently 80 bucks in on a hatcher and brooder. So, I had a good day
I hope everyone else did!!!!! I have another deal going down tomorrow too that should break me even with things plus some. I got called a horse trader today
I guess I am, but hey..I look at it like this...if I can get what I want virtually without spending any or much money, why not. I know enough folks I can trade up on just about any item. I also got a new cool barter for the summer that gives me a cow share for delivering ice on a route I'm always going anyway. This summer is looking really promising so far, I hope it continues!!
I have hired a bit of help on the farm this year already. Too much stuff for just little old me. Saturday will be booked up with lots of building and demolition and sweat and maybe hopefully no blood or tears but I can't promise nuffin lol!
I has bacon seeds coming, and they have to have housing. I need a fence moved again bc the goats act like they are starving to death. 3 days, they mowed down a quarter acre of weeds and crap...so on to the next spot. I got 600 feet of second hand electric net fence for $200 last week and have them hooked up for the goats and ducks. I swear in two months I will save that much in feed alone for 8 goats and 4 ducks!! Plus..I don't much need a lawn mower lol!
In short, things are going pretty well right now. And it's late, and I have to haul lumber tomorrow...which was FREE btw..and it's hot here already. 86 and muggy today...with rain coming in tomorrow afternoon to make it even more humid so yeah..hitting the ground running in the morning
