Cattle decided to unplug their stock tank heater 🙄 I didn't see them, so I decided to go plug it in. They were all under the roof of the stalls. I spooked them and they all bolted out of there. Then they figured out it was me and came up to watch me work.

Snow has tapered off to flurries. Looks like 8 inches or so total. Never got much ice. The birds and tree rats stayed active feeding all day yesterday.
I should have started a birding log. Some birds we don't usually see showed up

the sun was nice today. yes purdy! :)

1F this morning. the daytime temps are going back up this week so it will be like a heatwave. above freezing even almost to 40F, we'll see...

warmer temps will give the deer a break and perhaps they can go eat something else besides our trees.

Buddy at work has his apple tree tree trunks wrapped to protect against rabbits. With 2 feet of snow on the ground....guess who is wrapping higher?
