Our abnormal low temp pattern is not due to break until March 10. Given this late season cold snap, I expect to be rewarded by a warm and pleasant spring. :gig
The swings in temps will help the sap flow for the syrup makers around here, though

Only thing we are "tapping" here is RAIN!! Temps are dropping for next week and I am not looking forward to it, AT ALL. The tease with 60-70s was just not right -- we are being treated badly. :(

In our area we do daylight savings, so 3/10 that begins. It affects us people but, the animals only know "sun up & sun down". :old

SPRING -- where are you ???? :idunno:caf:hu:hu

Where is spring? I'm well beyond ready to plant the spring garden.

We're slowly getting warmer in the days.

I'll have the silkie pens moved by the time it gets to spring. Then I can plant in the there.

You always get 7 days of straight rain?
Often. 7 Straight days with NO rain is not very common here. We get frequent short showers and bits of rain passing. And 4 seasons in 1 day is not uncommon either lol We have a saying here, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, it'll change.

The longest dry spell we had since I moved here nearly 4 years ago was last summer when we didn't get rain for 5 weeks. Water restrictions were put in place by week 3.

Looks like I'm on the border of 3-6" and 6-12" for tomorrow night. I bet you all can guess which I'm hoping for!
