* Zucchini focaccia faux-bread made with duck eggs and zucchini from the garden
* Marinara dipping sauce made from roma and russian black plum tomatoes, basil, rosemary, oregano, roasted peppers and garlic. The only thing I didn't grow was the garlic.
* Salsa using my tomatoes, cilantro and serano peppers.

Mmmm WZ, that sounds fantastic!!

Lets see, on top of all the canning I did, I baked up two loaves of sourdough; one wheat and one white.

Then I made myself a thick cut sourdough grilled cheese sandwich with fresh basil and sliced tomatoes tucked into it. I added a few of my homemade (fermented) pickles on the side.

For dinner, I'm having wine. :D

I made Scotch Eggs using our own quail eggs and our own sausage. Here's a pic from another time that I made them, but anyway, it shows them:

I think tomorrow I'm going to tackle a Brunswick Stew from scratch and can it. There's plenty of homegrown pork and chicken here (frozen). Leftover after market sales today are fresh tomatoes, corn, onions, butter beans and new potatoes.

Yesterday for dinner I grilled brats. They were served with home made Caraway sauerkraut and creamy cucumber salad. Cuc's from the garden of course. I left out the dill because the kids really don't like it.

I wish I could say I raised the meat but not yet!!!

I have a peach crumble cooling on the stove right now. I made the topping with a little maple syrup instead of sugar and used stevia as well. Used about a tablespoon or so of maple syrup.

Just gotta walk the dog that had surgery and do his last physical therapy, then I plan to be a peach pig!
