What did you do in your garden today?

Turned my head as I walked by and noticed that I need to cut some broccoli. Tomorrow is soon enough.

Worked outside for a couple hours on Sat and Sun. Mostly the front huge flower bed and then the steep bank on the east side of us. My back was tired of bending over as it hasn't moved that much of a radius since last fall!!

I was out last night on errands. Priced lumber to build raised beds. I think I am going to do 3 beds, 4'x8'x8".
I have in my head a concept for a pvc pipe and bird netting 4'x4'x2' "box" to use as a critter deterrent. I think it will be light enough to remove when working on the garden and solid enough to deter the deer. I am considering hanging soap on the cover as additional repellent.

I will do one 4'x4'x4' set for one bed if I make an herb garden

Pulled a few weeds, a few rutabagas and cut some broccoli. Ordered some blackberry plants and going to try some raspberries that are supposed to grow in this zone.
