Ordered last batch of seeds from Baker Creek. No more this year. Going to do some experimenting beyond my standard varieties of cukes, radishes, beets, sunflowers, and melons.

The neighborhood deer herd was decimated on the highway this winter. Last snow, I only saw a single set of tracks over a week.

Going to plant the vine plants in the front flower bed of the house facing south. We shall see how this goes

On the foot of Mt Rainier zone 8b
8am we had an inch of rain since midnight. Only mud where I walk so chickens are mostly dry. I had to wade to get out there.

Only one perk hole isn't super flooded and has about 8 inches to top. Considering the road is flooded from neighbors side coming this way, that's pretty impressive.

The garden has 1-2 inches of standing water
