Finally finished chipping up and cutting firewood from branches that fell from this past winter ice storm. I figure it's pretty close to 96 cuft wood chips and some fire wood. I should be able to mulch in a couple rows of fruit trees.

Found this peach laying on the ground. It's a rich may, it probably got knocked off by the golf ball sized hail we had Friday. Rich may is a early peach, so I would venture to say rich may is finishing up pit hardening phase and should start fleshing out soon. Atleast it's good and clean, unblemished.

Not really orchard but FB and I potted up the dwarf figs I got her last last year. VIOLETTE DE BORDEAUX, BEERS BLACK and FIGNOMENAL. They only grow 6 to 10 foot tall. Doubt they will grow that tall this year, they are still babies...

I also started 1 lb organic ginger root in the orange pot to the right.

I checked neighbors tree -- that she's given me permission to be "mine" 😁 it's loaded!!!! It's a massive growth -- about 10' tall, spreads 15+ across. Yeah at least 25+ yrs old. So I can hardly wait for harvest. Late this month. :drool that and elderberries here & there will keep me super busy with dehydrating, canning, jellies, etc. I'll take her some jellies/jams. And she gets occasional eggs and cheese gifted. It's a partnership.

Our little baby figs are last year's tisue cultures, so won't produce this year but should start next year. That means, you should share, because sharing is caring :)

Would be thrilled to share but, you're a long drive away ☺️
I know... :( about 8 years ago I sent a friend a flat rate box full of sport peppers. This is when USPS good. That box took a long journey and arrived a week later, mostly rotten. :(
