I didn't go shopping, and cut up some wood rather than letting hubby buy some.

Started hanging some lau dry on a drying rack. Wont save much... 50 $/yr maybe. But it lowers my energy needs a lot.

Oh!!...so happy!!..I made a good haul yesterday. I was up in Greenwood, 40 miles away from us...on business...decided to stop by Lowes home store..in the garden section. Garden supplies coming in this month in SC, but hard to get to Lowes and Home Depot. Too far away.

Anyway, they had the generic topsoil, potting soil and manure. Going fast too. When I got there, 2 bags of potting soil left. I bought all of the damaged bags...2 potting soil, 7 topsoil, and 6 manure...(retail-not damaged)...grand total $21.00 :ya

The back of my little nissan frontier was lower..driving the 40 miles back home. I will offload it all today...1 40 lb bag at a time.

DH said his Irish red headed momma from WV, would be jealous....all that for 21$. She's always pinching pennies too.
