When the power grid is down, and you haven't a back up generator, what manual grain mill do you have.I have a "back to basic" manual mill that i just tried yesterday.I ground up some whole kernals of corn and made corn bread. The mill did a good enough job of making cornmeal, but was rather slow. The hopper is so small and i had to keep pushing the corn around in the bottom of the hopper to feed into mill.
I know they have some nice manual and manual/electric ones, but they are kinda pricey.I've been looking at the Corona grain mill/grinder.Does anyone here use/own a Corona..? If not, what type hand mill do you have, and do you like it..?
