Aha....winds to pick up at a time I don't want even a possibility of power outage. Brownies in oven now, ya see my priorities 🤣

Mixing meatloaf soon and will get all going in oven, meat, veggies...toast garlic bread after. Might throw together a quiche. Cooling hard boiled eggs now. Yep, a cooking day!! 👍

Don't expect any outage but....surely a hot meal.

Why have I never thought of dehydrating cooked beans? This is EPIC, lol! I will definitely be trying this. Of course, this comes right after I canned 27 pints of beans last week....argh.

I've seen dehydrated refried beans in the bulk foods at the store I shop. I'd think just dehydrated regular ones would work well.

powdered would be like refried bean paste kind of thing? i'd not really mind it i'm sure but to me it is very easy to freeze them or to cook a fresh batch.

i like things like that for dessert too, the sweet and sour combination is something i like in almost all forms i've ever had.
