Yep! Last time I saw one like your neighbor is so calmly holding -- well, I caught it with a machete... later that year, two more about 2/3 the size were caught the same way. I did give them notice to move first, they ignored me. :somad

I had seen that one in my feed room sporadically for a couple of years. I was ok with it in there because at that time we had a bad rodent problem. It took care of the rodents and started on eggs. That's not ok. I caught it and took it a couple miles down the road and released it.

We had a lot of rat snakes around here for awhile. Paris kills every snake she finds. We put out rat poison, no rats or mice. No food for them, no snakes.

Our rodent population is way down too...rarely see them anymore. Gracie, the English Shepherd, is a better ratter/mouser than any cat could ever think about. If she can see it, she can catch it and they're dead in a nano second!

Looks like it's gonna be a snake year... I saw another one in the ditch when i went to bring in the mail. A bigger version of last nights visitor. This one was probably a good 3 footer!

Ok- y'all asked for a new pic of cowboy- so here ya go!

Nope ropes....:ep
Are you referring to the ropes that hold the tarp on that trailer? Cowboy ate them when I locked him in there when Maddie, the female, was in heat, lol. For awhile NOTHING could contain that dog. Now he knows all about electric fences. So do I....they hurt!

Cowboy is an honest to goodness mess! He's been a challenge since the day he was born - but I love the big ol' goofus! AND, he is LGD extraordinaire!

Today I was lovin' on Maddie and he's waaaaay too 'dignified' to come begging for attention. So, he came up and quietly sat down behind me...just sat there...waited until Maddie walked off and he just stood up next to me and looked up. Yea - he got his loving too!

I can't wait to get him on the scale the next time I take him to the vet. And I guarantee you he'll go to the vet in that trailer, lol. (after I tie the tarp back down) That dog will NEVER set foot in my truck again! Some of ya'll might remember that story! It involved corn.... LOL!!!!
