If you haven't removed the eggs, let them continue incubating. Chick embryos are tough little things, they can handle cooling down.

Im gonna wait for more resonable weather. At least under 100°f so i dont have to worry about the incubator getting too hot

I have a broody hen. She is on her 4th try, snakes kept getting in and eating the eggs. Finally have her isolated in a safe place. There were two vicious roosters in there, so mean that I wouldn't go in the coop. We slaughtered them and I moved her. Anyway, it's been so hot here that I checked on her a couple of days ago.....she was standing over the eggs and fanning her wings. I don't know if she was cooling the eggs or herself. LOL

So i planted black eyed peas from the grocery store in the raised beds last weekend. They sprouted! Idk if ill get a harvest but legumes are never a bad idea.

Well my blackeyed peas are doing well. So we planted a few more. We might get a pot of beans out of the deal. Got my first ripe watermelon of the year! It was tasty! Getting ready to plant for fall. Cant wait!

Oh man, I'm a little jealous of you and Bay gettin' watermelon...dunno know why but I haven't planted it in years. Doesn't do too well in our clay soil, but I might need to give it another try someday. I love me some watermelon!

It seems to do well for us. Maybe the sandy soil or maye the woodchips? Idk. It only gets one bucket of water poured on it per week and we have been in a very hot dry spell.
