Loads of peas today and a carrot that's not quite ready, but it grow right alongside another one, so I pulled it. Also got some raspberries and strawberries. Only getting one or two here and there, but I'm happy. They'll produce more as they grow.

WooHoo! Looks delicious! Nice to reap a reward for your hard work!
It's a lovely reward! I need to sit down and shell them and see how much I have. I may freeze some of this batch. I'll be out there picking again in a few days, there are so many still :)

One of my zucchinis has a flower. Can't wait for that and the first tomatoes. They took so long to get going, they surprised me. Tomatoes are so easy usually. My swiss chard is growing very well too. I can start picking them now, if I want to, but I'm going to let them grow a bit more first.

And here it is…

According to the seed packet the fruit are the size of large apples and dark green, so I waited. It's grown much bigger than anticipated already, so I think I may pick it today or tomorrow and eat it.

That looks WAY bigger than a large apple, Sumi!!! You must have great soil. Let us know how it tastes....should be a LOT of water in that one, with that shape. How will you prepare it?

I'm not sure how I'm going to prepare it yet… It's kinda big lol And I'm the only here that eats them. I think I may boil some of it with onions and eat it with butter, salt and pepper. I love them that way. The rest I may fry up with something, like a pork chop.

Wonder how it would do baked? I saw some baked zucchini recipes once that looked pretty tasty....

Guess you'd have to modify this somewhat due to the shape and size of your vessel/squash.
