I love small town America. I was starting to pick at the driveway, and the neighbor up the street came and used his snowblower on the driveway. Some places over a foot deep. We have brownies and cookies cooling to take to them later

Still sleeting here. My back is screaming at me. We've decided that we will not bother to go out and snow blow today, since the wind and more accumulation may simply fill it back in again. Hubby would rather snow blow twice, instead of having 20" to get through once. However, I'm of the mind set that there's not much sense snow blowing if the wind and further accumulation are going to make your work invisible by the next morning. Thankfully, he has tomorrow off, so we can tackle it together.

My back complains when I stand for a long time, or bend over for a long time, or shovel... Hubby says that my aches and pains are caused by too many birthday candles. And, he's right! A bit of rest, and I'm ready to go at it again.

Well it's slowing down and we only have about 10" with a little ice in the middle. Hope it won't start up again! Getting ready for the wind and cold next. Brrr!
