I love your knit results! Have known several people who knit and admire that work. Just not something I ever learned. Would like to but, I guess fabric is more my thing. Your quilts are lovely, too.
My grandmas both quilted. One crocheted -- doilies EVERYWHERE! -- and did quilts with many different patterns. Other one made quilts for necessities and wasn't AS determined to do the pretty patterns as much.
So, I was raised with store bought blankets.

Mom sewed very well and made many of my clothes, especially as a child. I saw this and mimicked. For many years I made most of the clothes for both my kids, myself and shirts for then DH. As the kids aged, the clothes "wants" changed and I got into the doll clothes, then prom dresses, then wedding gowns. Right now, I don't even hem.

I love to sew but, it does take take time and patience and currently that is in short supply. I would love get myself back into it. One day. Used to do creatives, like curtain, pillows, stuffed toys, dog coats, etc. At some point, those things may become a tiny source of income at markets, etc. It's a thought. Sew in winter, sell in Spring.
Do you needlepoint? Used to do a lot of that. When I had a lot of flight time to fill, I could carry a bag and work on it on the plane.
