Good Morning all my wonderful people!
@flowerbug he says he can't eat apples or carrots or anything that requires that kind of chewing seeing how he doesn't have any teeth. Believe I know that's a bunch of BullSweets seeing how I know plenty of people who eat stuff like that who don't have any teeth, he's just being a wimp and doesn't want to try.
@baymule , Dandelion sure is a cutey!!! I'm looking forward to future post to see how beautiful she ends up being.

that sure does put a complication on things, but he seems to manage a nutty bar pack just fine and those aren't soft either... haha, i know how that all works... :) he'll have to figure it out eventually, but i hope he can do it before he loses body parts other than teeth.

it's a change, and can take years to ease some habits off. keep at it and try whatever might work, a few carrots and apple slices as a snack, some peanut butter to make them stick better, etc. :)
Apples and bananas are some of the worst fruits for diabetics, along with pineapple, grapes and melons. The carb intake can be mitigated by eating miniscule portions, but who can eat a half cup of cantaloupe. The carbs in apples is why I cringe when I see people claiming replacing sugar with applesauce in baking is "healthy"

For fiber, eat celery. It's higher in salt, but that's not an issue for me.

for me the apples change is good because what is replacing is even worse. i'm not a diabetic, but i do feel better with less sugar and carbs in my diet so anything i can do to replace a high carb by a lower carb (with more fiber) is a big improvement.

i don't normally eat grapes or pineapple and melon is seasonal but still ok for me to eat.

oh, and applesauce isn't very appealing to me in general because i do like the apple peel.

I've been watching meadowlarks this morning, what a beautifully colored bird. Quail are also calling with their unmistakable "bob white" call.

I walked out the backdoor last night and frightened at least 1/2 a dozen rabbits 🙄.

Spring is here, Thank You, Almighty \o/

I find it very interesting... Birds have all they could ever want to eat and make a nest where every they deem fit. Yet here we are laboring to feed and shelter ourselves. The Holy Bible has a lot to say about food and shelter.

Jesus is Lord and Christ 🙏❤️🇺🇸

Well @CrealCritter we no longer have a cave and campfire. I believe the Almighty is good with more current trends in that respect.

That said -- I also believe He intends for us to be less wasteful, more mindful, productive and sharing. This is where most SS lives are proven to be healthful and fulfilling for those who do respectfully care for themselves and others, providing sustenance, whether plant or animal based. This includes a respect for land, plants and animals. Much is provided, and we are expected to use with consideration, replenishment and gratitude for each life.

Teaching others a good way is best for all of us.

I could seeing how I love it just like I love watermelon but HoneyDew Melon:sick🤮🤢 is out of the question for me.

So leave the peel on when you cook the apples down. When I make homemade APPLESAUCE I only use the apples and cinnamon and NO ONE can tell the difference

Good Morning everyone!
Coffee is hot and ready!!!
Going to be in the 60s again here today just like it was yesterday-BRRRR!!!!! I hope it goes back up to 70-75 here soon.
Been up since 2:45 (I think) so just waiting on FH to get up but that's not going to be until at least 4:30. He said I gave him too much food yesterday which it wasn't my fault due to him always saying "it was a light lunch and was gone by noon" so let's see what he says today about it. No matter what I do or how good a job I do I don't do nothing right so maybe it's time it's time I get out but I'm not going to do that.
