We had a nice large trout that hubs caught a couple of years ago, that was vac packed. Put it on the finicky Traeger for an hour and then fried it with some onions and zucchini.
That sounds delicious!

I've tried several times to grow parsnips - nope. Not happening - never even had a sprout. Quite possible though that I didn't know what they looked like and weeded them? That would be my luck, lol!

Baking a chicken. Have several large ones in freezer, plus 2-20+lb turkeys. Need to use up more. Gotta make bread if I want sandwiches. :old so a cooking day....during all this rain 😡 that's not needed!

SNACKS. Lots of snacks like fresh veggies, hummus from Trader joes, smoked clams from a can from 2020, peach salsa from Costco, horrible for you but delish frozen pizza bites, some whole grain tortilla chips, and homemade cranberry loaf bread. Also unsalted mixed nuts.

I've never been sure though if the fiber cancels out the carbs like they say. But, even if not, 7 carbs isn't terrible.

Well last month Id have tried those. Now only corn tortilla are low enough in salt.

I have to watch carbs because of my blood sugar, but we've found out over the last several weeks that we've cut most salt out of our diet that we've lost weight. That may be because so much is just sad now. Ive been using different herb seasoning and butter is the main salt added. Potassium chloride for meats. Cant stand the aftertaste on anything else. Don't notice on the meat.

Yes i can have salt, but am not cooking different things. Also don't eat anything cooked out in town if you've been low salt. Yes it will taste too salty, but it's the effect of the high salt on the body after not having it. We did not have a good time fighting over the toilet.
