I check the Google newsfeed on my phone daily for news and weather updates. Yesterday morning I saw this:

https://www.joe.ie/news/met-eireann-snow-doubtful-reports-647674

Quote:
"Met Éireann has claimed that there is very little chance of us getting snow, at least any time soon.

Speaking to JOE on Monday, a spokesperson for the national meteorological service said that we should expect nothing but a spell of dry and benign weather, with absolutely no indication of any snow on the horizon just yet."

Then yesterday evening I saw this: Snow forecast to hit Ireland this month as new 'Beast from the East' swoops in

:idunno I'll come back sometime and let you all know what ended up happening lol

Not only were we cheated out of spring but now fall also. The first day of winter is supposed to be Friday, Dec 21.

I was reading on the internet that there is a lack of sun spots so expect a cold winter. Of course it's the internet so who knows if there is any truth to it or not. Google it for yourself and see what you think.

This is not actually abnormal for us. The Farmer's Almanac says above average temps and snow totals for us. Works for me, I'll be breaking out the snowshoes!
