    yesterdays surprise.

    We had 2 babies born yesterday.A boy named Luke and a girl named Leia. We did not know mamma was expecting. My clue was when I saw a discharge. Luke was born first with no problem. I had to help mama with Leia. She presented head first no feet. Thankfully she is fine. Luke is the brown one.

    How was your day?

    Ours was a bit off because of doctor apts today. But we still managed to get a bit done. I am pushing the math. We have been taking to much time off lately (my fault) and are playing catch up a bit. We spent one day this week out working in the garden and orchard. My ds is in 3rd grade.

    Need help making yogurt

    I have tried several times now with no success. :barnie I don't have a yogurt maker. I tried the crock pot method and putting the jars in the cooler with 120degree water and nothing is comming out right. I just keep getting poor results. How do you guys do it?

    what kind of scrap bucket do you have?

    I am trying to find a better option. I currently use an ice cream bucket to collect the kitchen scraps throughout the day. It is not attractive though and it keeps odors even after being washed. So what do you use? Nancy
