    Need help picking an LGD for our needs

    Just a quick side note. St Bernards don't eat much at all. WAY less than say a Lab or Shepherd. Mine eats MAYBE 3 - 4 Cups of food a day. GREAT dog!

    Is your camera digital? If so, you should be able to get a clear BIG pic by using the MACRO setting (on most, the icon for this looks like a tulip). Then crop and resize on the computer. Good luck!

    We are still using commercial Kombucha here and let it sit out on the counter so it gets the fizziness back then "cut it" with apple juice and it is SOOO good! She finally confessed that she is not drinking it because it is so expensive and she doesn't want to use it up rather than let me have...

    DANGIT! Any ideas what I did wrong? Should the tea be cold? It was a bit warm as I had just made it. It was sitting on the kitchen counter out of direct sunlight. Our water is a bit weird, it corrodes everything. the britta filter was a bit old (month or so) and I DID just notice this...

    Gotcha! Will go do that now. One question though. I have read the kefir thread and I'm SURE it's in there somewhere, but... How do I tell when it's "done"? Time to change it into new milk? Thanks for all the help and I saw your pics of the new addition. SHE'S A KEEPER! So glad for you!
