The damage wasnt as bad as i thought. We only lost half the crop. Still ended up with 2 buckets to shell. This is just the start of the canning

Are those your black eyed peas? I have never seen black eye peas before, lol.
Do you season them when you can them?
We have northern white beans, but that is about it around here. We use those for baked beans and ham.
We tried to grow black beans last year, but the deer ate both plantings as soon as they started to sprout. We will put up some fence and try again next year.
