On a positive note - it's great that your daughter felt comfortable enough with you to share that with you, lol! Good looking gate for sure!

Your little girl is growing up.

She's been laid up on the couch all day with a heating pad. I told her to go water the chickens and she completely ignored me. Normally she would get in big trouble for that but I'm not sure what the protocol is here.

It sounds like she's in discomfort (cramping). Best leave her in peace for as long as this takes to pass. And pardon the moods for the duration as well. I can't and won't speak for all the girls out there, but this is an unpleasant time for many and peace and understanding from the males in our lives is much appreciated.

Protocol is give her a day or two but don't let her get away with that forever. Lol seriously, be understanding but teach her to power through.

And a little ibuprofen is a miracle for that too.

The wife gave her some ibuprofen. She's up and about now. Seems just fine. She even watered the chickens.....a couple hours late, but hey I ain't griping.

All but done with the garden. 5 cattle panel trellis in, new expansion sheet mulched. Still need to add a little more to the last raised bed but that's no big deal. I may just fill it the rest of the way with leaves and unfinished compost and then plant potatoes in it.

I may or may not get the trellis done in front of the rabbit cage. But I'm happy with what we habe got done so far. It should make a huge improvement on the next harvest
