I still think it's a great idea, PLUS 'journal' sounds EVER so much better than 'blog'

('Blog' always sounds to me like the name for the stuff you clean out of the P-trap under your sink, or something like that )

Good to see I'm not the only one who gets irked by the word blog. It's high on my list of annoying words.

(some of it's competitors are "ginormous" and "noodle" when it's used as a verb)

Kind of like you could use blob, clog, glob and blog interchangably (sp).

Funny, I use "noodling" as a term for absentmindedly playing musical instruments. Like, "quit noodling at the piano and start practicing!"

I can't say as 'noodling' is common here in CT but ginormous has been coming out of my son's mouth since he was about 4 years old. It's even in the dictionary these days! Gets a little old after a while...
