Yup, I rather live my live working hard, eating well and having good friends to chat with on this forum, than to spend it working to buy stuff and keeping up with appearances.

I love this group. Aunt Lucie is in the sky with diamonds all by herself.

I wouldn't trade my life in for hers for a million bucks, !!! really!!!!

Yes, it's very sad how some people devote their lives to causing pain, misery and sadness to other people. How sad for them that they have no better lives than that....you would think they would want to concentrate on happiness and good things. But then, maybe hurting people DOES make them happy, huh? Weird!

I feel sorry for those kind of people...they will pass through this beautiful world never knowing the feeling of living hate and stress free. They will die with anger and hurting as their only legacy.

Very sad. :/

Hey, Delia! I got a very sweet card in the mail today and it made poor Bat smile and laugh....thank you so very much!

Sent you a package today but it will get there slowly as I sent it media mail....enjoy!

Something to store in your brain case....I told my aunt about biting one's lip to tone down a leg or foot cramp~at which time she laughed derisively~ and she called to the other day to say that it works! Well, of course it does, or I wouldn't have told her about it!

Black Betty jumped her pen fence today right before I came home. I went out to do damage control and she ran to me Baa-ing for all she was worth! Feels good to be the shepherdess.... I got food in a cup and walked her right back into the pen....it's not me she loves but the offerings I bring.

Another thing to note: If you always say you are going to visit that elderly friend and life gets in the way~don't let it. A very dear, sweet lady died this weekend before I could ever sit down to the promised game of Scrabble with her.

I'm not sad for her, as I will see her again one day and I know she is no longer sick or frail....but still....wish I had really tried harder to do that game of Scrabble.

So funny! I went and got some primo hay for my sheeples today too! I really like them to have something more nutritious than the stuff that I stored this year.....it's pretty much mulch hay.

LOVE the hay I found at the local feed store.....so green and fragrant that it almost looks tastey to me!

J, are you all snuggled in for the weekend, then? As I drove past the local grocery store this evening, the parking lot was jammed full and folks were scurrying like ants....but probably more like grasshoppers.

I need to get some better hay for mine as well. This grass hay just doesnt look tasty...and the sheepies dont seem to like it very much either. Yup, we are snug as a bug in a rug. Everyone has feed...dry bedding..and the firewood is dry. Bring it on!! Just dont let the power go out, I have chicks hatching!! LOL

That is cute! It reminds me of my chickens. Anyone can walk out side and they barely bother to even lift their heads ....when I come out they come running full speed, looking like little velociraptors! It always makes me proud that they love me so.....or at least that is what I choose to tell myself
