So, I sat out in the barn with Pebbles....untill 11:15 pm. She was standing, then laying....then standing...biteing her sides..throwing her head back...panting. I just KNEW she was in labor.. :/ Well, I was worn out.....and since a " watched goat never kids" I decided to come inside. This moring..I SHOT out of bed, just knowing I was going to see babies. Got out there, and she was standing thre looking at me like I had 3 heads. NO BABIES!! UGH!!! WHY is she doing this to me!??? Doesnt she KNOW I want to see those babies?? We are supposed to have storms today...about 1 pm. Im guessing she will go into labor then. AND, my Son from OKC is coming in....about 1 PM. UGH! NO FAIR!!!! She ate well this morning...grains...hay...I dont know. This is torture!!

do what i did... march out there all angry like and then shout loudly:

OK FATTIE - HAVE THE BABY, DONT HAVE THE BABY I DONT CARE!!

and then when she looks at you all shocked and such, really drive it home with:

AND ANOTHER THING, CORN IS FOR MOMMA'S - NONE FOR YOU!

then dramatically throw something down and stomp away.

i'm telling you, it totally works.


btw, Nibbles did that to me the other day - way way too early -- and the neighbor kids said that the babies may have just been pressing on her in a weird way. that was weeks ago and she still out there, big as a blimp.
