Having spent most of my career working in customer service call centers, I really appreciate good customer service. I love that story SSDreamin! You so rarely hear of things like that anymore. Recently I had the need to contact the company whose call center I last managed and was very disappointed by the poor service I received. I even asked to speak to a supervisor, who turned out to be someone I remembered from my time there. She wasn't yet a supervisor when I ran the place. She clearly didn't realize who I was and was very rude. I ended up getting what I wanted, but it took all of my patience to do it. I never did tell her that I used to be her boss! I did, however; call my former assistant, who now holds my former position and let her know. I didn't want the woman to get in trouble, but I felt I needed to at least advise the current manager. What a shame!
