So....my wife's aunt clearly adores me. HA! My wife and her sisters have been requesting some old time family canning recipes for DECADES...DECADES. They were always told they were "too hard to get right". At dinner Sunday with the family, guess who was handed a STACK of handwritten copies of those favorites by said aunt after just 6 years of marriage.

Canning underway...yellow squash is all used up. 7 quarts. I am good with that. Need to get a few things for the zucchini relish

Worked today, now home with dehydrator, canner, dishwasher and washer all going! I'm gonna deserve a glass of vino after this.

I'm having a cuppa, listing order in which I need to do several "gotta do" things. Milking over. On to the rest of stuff. Late day I'll hook up trailer, pull out early in morning to pick up goat. Five hr drive, round trip, plus time there. Won't get much more done tomorrow beyond chores and picking beans. Keeps me going.
