Real off drug use.... 😁 ....good thing it has a big margin of error. Always a supply here.

There are so many businesses going out of business and others overwhelmed! Hospitals and funeral homes, casket makers -- unfortunately they are hard pressed to keep up.

Restraunts are in real trouble unless they are drive thru. So sad for everyone from trickle down...workers, suppliers, the supplier businesses......

I hear that someone finally made sense and told gov no go home for holidays until business I'd done!!!! Suddenly a six month impass is breaking down. I've said that for years and no one listened. Spoiled brats! We give them too many liberties.

The following chart shows annual deaths in the United States, life expectancy, top causes of death, and average deaths per day in the country. Data for 2020 is provisional through December 12th, and all data is taken from the CDC or the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS):

COVID-19
Federal data on deaths in 2020.

Thank you. It is tragic that people get this covid, and that there are deaths from it. It is fast and hits some hard. We are going to see the life expectancy lower as we lose so many of the elderly. But there are several places to find similar numbers that our overall death rate has stayed close to average. You have to account for the slight increases as the population continues to go up so there are more people and so there will be more total deaths overall.
I don't want anyone to die, but it is part of life. We are not only destroying our economy, we are destroying our way of life and we are becoming more and more like sheeple..... and if we are not careful, there will be people telling us what we can and can't do regardless of whether we want to take care of ourselves as we see fit.
I get the whole thing about overwhelming the hospitals, and caretakers, but if people were encouraged to seek EARLY TREATMENT, instead of waiting to get so sick they already need hospitalization, we would be far ahead. Staying home, isolating, has caused us to believe that is the only way to stay healthy; yet we will never build our immune systems with isolation...... whether you get a vaccine or you get a "case" of the covid, we have to challenge our immune systems to this so that we can withstand the next wave of infections. Make no mistake, this type of corona virus is here to stay. As has been cited by several on one of my cattle forums, if we get some exposure and subsequent immunity, it will hopefully carry over to help us to withstand other similar challenges to our systems.
The smallpox vaccine was developed from people that had exposure and immunity to the cow pox......ALOT of people died......
Having exposure and building an immune system that is as healthy as possible is the only way to go. And yes, vaccinations are also a way to help build immune systems. There is a reason that it takes years and hundreds of studies, to deem one safe.....

DH went to doctor yesterday for check up. Doctor said Covid is all over our town, everyone has it. Our hospitals are not swarmed, doing good there. We know a lot of people that have it or had it. They felt bad, some felt worse, they were over it in 2-3 weeks.

This doctor was on vacation when DH got so sick the first of this year. We went over his symptoms and the residual out of breath and very long recovery from that. Doctor agreed that it was probably Covid.

the good news is that one relative who's been in the hospital for quite some time with the virus made it out and is in rehab, :) but i'm not sure yet what they need rehabbing. the bad news is that another person they just took off ventilator because they can't do anything else for them and their body is shutting down. daughter visited for TG and didn't know she had it and infected 7 others. :(

I'm thankful there are so many different vaccines using different technologies. The first 2 approved in the USA are mRNA, but there are other COVID vaccines out there. I also think its wise to wait and see which vaccines are best and safest!

i'll take any of them that have made it to phase 3 and start being used... they're not covering up how many people are having allergic reactions so i'm ok with knowing the odds. dunno when they will be available here to the general public. when they are i'll be going.

there is a lot of difference between flu and this virus and i'm sure they've learned more too since then.

Influenza is "seeded" from the southern hemisphere y'all. Travel restrictions and reduced travel dramatically reduced northern hemisphere influenza seeding. Countries in South America had much better mask compliance than the USA and many countries in South America closed borders

The statements in the meme are not mutually exclusive when you include context.
