Uff dah! Gonna have to get that goat castrated! He was being a jerk so I started leading him by the goatee. Which he'd been peeing on, of course. And he peed on my foot. Took 5 showers to get the stink off me.

I made the window treatment for my kitchen window!

I have a tiny adorable attic room, my little girl-cave/studio/bedroom. We start turning the attic into a room 2 years ago. Everything is crooked - it's 1880's farmhouse - so I started a pretty plaster texture on the walls and ceiling. I got the walls done quickly and it has sat undone for 2 years. Never could figure out why I couldn't seem to get it done. Today is day 3 of medication and I FINISHED ALL THE PLASTER TEXTURE! :ep:celebrate

Plus got my housework done, took a shower... and a nap. Gardened with hubby and wasn't limited by shortness of breath. Wow. I don't really know what to do with myself! I'm having an identity crisis (no exaggeration there)

We picked carrots and cucumbers, so I have canning and pickling to do. And blueberry picking again, the late crop is ready to start picking.

More happy updates. I had one rough day, was in bed, tachy, dizzy, irritable, cognitively impaired (my old normal). DH and I looked at my tracking and I had had half my sodium/fluids in the morning. I caught up, but didn't improve. Now I know that timing is as important as quantity. I'm drinking 8 oz of water and taking 2 pills every hour. As long as I keep that up, I feel fantastic and can function like a normal person.

I am still working through years' worth of things I couldn't do in the past. I'm still in the midst of painting my studio. I started cleaning out my basement today. I hauled 7 bushels of wood chip/wood dust/bark out of the basement today and restacked the remaining wood. DS10 was home from grandparents a bit today. I had him clean up after messes he left behind, including a big mess of board games and puzzles in the basement.

My kids are better behaved because I'm physically able to supervise them. I was able to get DS2 to bed last night - only took an hour. He just went down for a nap now - only took 3 and a half hours and me going up the stairs >40 times. (No big deal, right?) And I have to wake him up in 20 minutes. :gig poor kiddo! I hope he'll settle into routine nap/quiet time soon, this is exhausting.

I haven't started any farm projects/work. It's going to take some time before I work through backlog and am ready to take on more work.

Rome wasn't built in one day! :hugs I'm sure it does feel fantastic to be able to do everything you want to now and deeply tempting to do everything at once!

I've been in the kitchen!!

Yesterday I canned 10 pints of carrots and 4 pints of blueberry basil vinegar. I made double-batch of zucchini bread and fried up zucchini patties for supper.

I "only" used up 3 zucchini and a dozen eggs. I have my work cut out fo me! About 2/3 the carrots are still in the ground yet, I have a bucket of zucchini still, and I have to make dill pickles.

WOW...you are busy. Don't overdo and have a "backstep" in your condition. Even tho you feel better --:celebrate -- you need to remember to get your own rest and pace yourself...esp with a "baby in training".

I'm looking at a lot of corn, eggplant and green peppers to work up when it's pouring all day tomorrow (again!!!) but, it's my first day off to do it. Glad it has at least been cool so veggies are still great to work. Planning breaded eggplant to fry & freeze for parmesan dishes, stuff & freeze peppers, can the corn. I'll be thinking of you as we will BOTH probably be working in kitchens.
Would love to have some of your blueberry bushes here! :)
